How do I share an article on Be Collective?

This article shows group managers how to create and publish an article for a group.

If you have a story to share or volunteer achievements to celebrate, you can do so through Articles on Be Collective. Articles can also include clear calls to action, directing readers to your groups, events and opportunities.

Share an article

1. Open your group management page

2. On the Summary tab, open the Articles panel and click New to open the article editor

3. Add a title/headline, image, and copy text. We suggest your image is at least 500 pixels wide and 800 pixels tall

4. Optionally add a call-to-action button — check Include a link button?, choose what the button links to from the drop-down menu, and enter the button text in Button Text (e.g. 'Apply now!')

5. Choose who to share the article with:

   • If the article isn't ready yet, set Show/Hide to Hidden
   • Otherwise, set Show/Hide to Visible, then use the Privacy drop-down to choose Public or Group Members Only

6. Click Update Post to share your article
