How do I partner with another organisation?

This article shows group managers how to request a partnership with another group on Be Collective.

The Be Collective Partnerships function gives groups the ability to connect with organisations they'd like to support or show a relationship with. Developing a partnership on Be Collective also enables you to link directly to that partner in articles and easily share your opportunities with their members.

Tip: We advise talking to the potential partner organisation first so they know to expect the invitation. You can contact them through the contact details provided on their group page.

Find a group to partner with

  1. Click Search in the left navigation menu
  2. Select Find a group

If you know the name of the group you are looking for, type or paste it directly into the search bar at the top of the screen.

If you are not searching for a specific group, enter your location and specify your search radius using the drop-down arrow on the right-hand side. Your search results will update immediately after a new location has been entered.

Send a partnership request

  1. Visit the group's page

  2. Click the three dots button next to Join group on the far right of the navigation bar

  3. Select Request partnership

This button appears only if you are a group owner or administrator.

  1. If you own more than one Be Collective group, select the group you'd like to request the partnership for using the drop-down menu

  2. Optionally provide a brief explanation of why you'd like to partner with the group

  3. Click Confirm to send your partnership request

The other group will receive a notification that there's a partnership request. You can check the status of your request by visiting the Partnerships tab in your group, and you'll also receive a notification in the Be Collective app when the partnership request has been responded to.
