How do I create a certificate for my volunteers?

This article shows group managers how to create a certificate to issue to volunteers.

Certificates are a premium feature available to Be Collective Pro subscribers. See Be Collective's product plans & pricing.

Be Collective lets you recognise volunteer contributions through customisable certificates in the Rewards and certificates module.

Create a certificate

1. Open Manage my groups in the left-hand navigation

2. Select the group you want to manage

3. Open the Modules tab

4. On the Rewards and certificates module card, click Manage

5. Open the Certificates tab

6. Click Create new certificate

The Certificate Builder opens with a preview of your certificate.

Required fields

• Name — internal reference (e.g. 50 hours certificate)
• Title — title shown on the certificate itself

Optional fields

• Description — detail on what the certificate recognises, or a thank-you message
• Image — choose from the Unsplash library or upload your own

The group logo, group name, and certificate issue date come from your group profile and cannot be edited.

1. When the design is complete, click Save certificate
