How do I automatically accept opportunity applications?

This article shows group managers how to automatically accept applications for opportunities.

Automatic approval of applications is available to Be Collective Plus, Pro and Full Platform subscribers. To learn more about Be Collective's Plus and Pro plans, please see Be Collective's product plans & pricing

Turn on automatic approval

1. Open your group management page

2. Open the Opportunities tab and click Edit on the opportunity (or create a new opportunity)

3. Go to Step 3 – Application in the opportunity builder

4. Switch Automatically approve applications? on

This option is toggled off by default. When enabled, all applications from volunteers will be approved automatically without your intervention — however, you will still be required to assign approved volunteers to shifts or schedules.

Quick tip: This is best used for private opportunities where you already know who will be submitting applications.
