How can I search my group's volunteer data?

This article shows group managers how to search their group's volunteer data using advanced filters.

Advanced filters are available only to Be Collective Pro and Full Platform subscribers. See Be Collective's product plans & pricing.

Advanced filters search all member data fields within your group, including notes — useful for finding suitable volunteers (for example, filtering notes for dietary requirements).

Search volunteer data

1. Open your group management page

2. Open the Members tab

3. Open the Approved tab (advanced filter is shown here only)

4. Click Advanced filter

5. Select a criterion from the drop-down (e.g. Notes) and enter your search term (e.g. vegan)

6. Click Go

You can also filter on names, emails, age, gender, volunteer hours completed, and more.

Only results containing all words entered are returned, and all notes are searched.

Jessie's notes

• First note: Paramedic with an ML2 license
• Second note: Is allergic to cow's milk

Filter results

• ML2 — Jessie's record is returned

• milk — Jessie's record is returned

• ML2 milk — Jessie's record is returned

• ML2 soy milk — Jessie's record is not returned (because soy is not in any note)
