Exporting opportunities

This article shows group managers how to export their group's opportunity data in CSV format.

The Opportunities export lists all volunteer opportunities created or endorsed by your group on Be Collective, and includes the fields listed in the table below. If the group you run this report for has no opportunities, this report will be empty.

Field nameDescription

NameThe name (i.e. title) of the opportunity

Event nameThe name of the event the opportunity is part of (if applicable)

External organiserThe name of the group managing the opportunity - this will show another group's name if the opportunity has been endorsed by your group

External organiser locationThe location of the group managing the opportunity (suburb/town/city)

External organiser postcodeThe postcode of the group managing the opportunity

StatusThe status of the opportunity

TypeThe opportunity type (shift or flexible)

Create dateThe date the opportunity was created

Endorsed dateThe date the opportunity was endorsed by your group (if applicable)

Start dateThe date the opportunity starts, or started (if applicable)

TimeA summary of the shift or flexible schedule times of the opportunity. This may be a date range or a specific date with a time range, depending on the length of the schedule

LocationThe location where the opportunity will take place (suburb/town/city)

Opportunity postcodeThe postcode where the opportunity will take place (if applicable)

Experience gainedThe skill(s) associated with the opportunity (if provided)

CausesThe cause(s) associated with the opportunity (if provided)

CampaignsThe campaigns associated with the opportunity (if provided)

Application close dateThe date when the opportunity is closed to new volunteer applications (if applicable)

Contact personThe full name of the contact person listed for the opportunity

Opportunity suitable forThe group(s) the opportunity has been marked as suitable for

CreditsThe number of credits your group awards to volunteers for completing the opportunity

Endorsed creditsThe number of credits your group awards to volunteers for completing the opportunity your group has endorsed

RelationThe relationship of your group to the opportunity (owned by us or endorsed by us)

Total hours loggedThe total number of volunteer hours logged in the opportunity

Number of volunteersThe number of volunteers currently assigned to the opportunity

Social impact valueThe total social impact value of hours logged by volunteers in the opportunity to date. This is shown in your group's local currency

Number of endorsementsThe number of groups who have endorsed the opportunity. If the opportunity is managed by another group, this total will include your group's endorsement

Total positionsThe total number of volunteer positions created for the opportunity across all shifts

Positions occupiedThe number of volunteer positions in the opportunity across all shifts which are currently filled by volunteers

Positions vacantThe number of volunteer positions in the opportunity across all shifts which are currently vacant
