Causes explained
At Be Collective, its important that you can use our platform to recognise the causes that are central to your organisation.
Our list of causes has been created in collaboration with not-for-profits and community groups worldwide, so we know you'll find causes that accurately capture your focus.
We know that causes can overlap, so you can select as many causes as you like to create a full and accurate picture of what your organisation represents and who you advocate for. Here are some examples:
If your organisation promotes awareness of endangered species, you could select both Animal Welfare and Environment.
If your organisation provides support to those recovering from any kind of addiction, from recreational drugs to gambling, you could select Health as well as Addiction, to capture the mental health element of the work you do. Other categories such as Family Support may also apply.
If your organisation is a museum providing education programs, you could select Education and Arts, Culture & Heritage.
The causes you select will be searchable by volunteers, helping them find opportunities that they can feel good about.
